So a solid discipline in project management in a heavy industrial setting is required. The ideal candidate would come from a heavy steel fabrication environment and have experience designing pressure vessels. There is a supporting staff of design engineers who will need direction, leadership and a resource that can help resolve technical issues that come up in the design effort. Will interact heavily with purchasing, the shop coordinator, the company’s Senior Management staff, and the customer. Engineering degree required, mechanical preferred. Although not required, a person who has their PE designation would be highly valuable to us, as would someone who is PE eligible. Should have a good knowledge of ASME code, and enthusiasm for the multiple hats one always gets a chance to wear in a smaller company, as well as a significant opportunity to make a real difference.
